You know that your organization is ready to take real, tangible, sustained steps towards racial equity. You also know that it’s not easy to change institutions.
They have memory, momentum, culture, and inertia—which means they can be difficult to re-route once they’re in motion. You don’t want your team to pour their hearts and their energy into efforts for change that leave them spinning their wheels right where they started.
I’m here to help make sure your work for change finds traction.
I’ll support your organization by guiding sustainable shifts at all levels—including the mission, vision, and culture that animate it; the systems and structures that keep it together; the individual humans that bring it to life; and the relationships and power dynamics that exist between them.
Your team’s job is to bring their courage and commitment.
I will bring the steady, skillful support that helps it translate into results.
If any of these sound familiar, my work may be for you:
-
You’re a Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) professional who needs support creating internal organizing plans that would move your organization towards equity
-
You’re a member of an ad hoc DEI committee and you could use support guiding your colleagues towards a shared vision and plan for action
-
Your organization has made commitments in the past to change its culture, its structure, and its hiring practices—but a few years down the line, the same old problems are bubbling up
-
You have a team of people eager to make a change, but finding direction and clear next steps has been a challenge
-
You’re exhausted by resistance to change from parts of your organization and you could use an outside voice and a clear process to address recurring issues
-
You’ve been working hard to push your organization towards equity from the inside and you need support bringing your colleagues along with you

This is deep work.
It doesn’t happen overnight. It takes a willingness to get uncomfortable, face hard conversations, and make hard choices.
It’s worth it.
Imagine how much more powerful your collaborations will become when team members don’t have to spend precious energy withholding the truth of their experience. Imagine how much more joyful your work together will be when the conflicts caused by institutional injustice aren’t buried under the surface.
Imagine how settled your body will feel, knowing that your organization is truly moving in alignment with its values—and that you have the tools to course correct when needed.
Imagine what’s possible when people of all backgrounds want to bring their full selves into your organization—because you’ve done your work collectively, and your community knows it.
No more walking on eggshells. No more tiptoeing around the sticky subjects, hoping the surge of discomfort will pass before things get real. Your organization is ready for the work.
On the other side of that work, your team members will have:
-
A foundation of shared language and understanding to build on together
-
Greater capacity for flexible, creative thinking when inequities are surfaced
-
Tools for staying aware of your bodies under pressure—allowing for more thoughtful choices in charged moments
-
Skills to navigate difficult topics with more care and less unintended harm
-
Enough safety for members of color and enough vulnerability and awareness from white members, for those difficult conversations to be honest and productive
-
Awareness of when it’s time to separate into affinity groups—so that we can come back together stronger and more grounded
-
Clear benchmarks to measure the organization’s commitments over time
Work with Me
Change happens best through partnership.
That’s why I work with co-facilitators in all of my institutional change work. This allows for greater nuance and depth and it ensures that the process is shaped by multiple perspectives. If your organization is exclusively white, I will partner with another white facilitator. If your organization is multi-racial, I will partner with a Facilitator of Color to shape the process.
